I am Reshe Ramchandra, an oil and gas professional with 18+ years of experience in the energy sector. Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, I developed an early fascination with the natural world and the complex systems that power our lives. This curiosity drove me to pursue a career in Oil and Gas Sector.
I started my career with Gulf Engineering Services Limited (GESL), Trinidad and Tobago, as a Quality Inspector, where I gained invaluable experience in the Manufacturing and Servicing of oil and gas equipment. I then furthered my experience at IAL Engineering, Trinidad and Tobago, as a Thread inspector, after which I returned to GESL as the Quality Manager for both in Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana.
In the phase of Quality Manager, I was entrusted to uphold licenses from API, Tenaris, Hunting Energy, JFE steel, NOV, and many other threading patients. I have also had the privilege of working with top-tier companies such as BPTT, BHP, EOG, Shell, Exxon, Total, Petronas, CGX, and many others, where I advanced to positions of greater responsibility.
My passion for the oil and gas sector quickly grew, and I was fortunate to work on several high-profile projects that taught me the importance of innovation, safety, and environmental stewardship. Upon reaching my limits in the Management field I stepped out as an Independent Quality Consultant with Bureau Veritas North America, while also advising various local companies within the Latin American Region in the areas of quality and metrology.
My roles have involved not only technical expertise but also project management and leadership, enabling me to mentor emerging professionals in our field. I believe in fostering teamwork and collaboration, as they are essential to navigating the complexities of the oil and gas industry.
As I look to the future, I aim to leverage my experience and passion for the oil and gas industry to contribute to groundbreaking advancements and sustainable practices that drive the industry forward, assisting companies in understanding the importance of Metrology and having the proper equipment required for each and every job. As a consulting agent, I am now geared towards providing a service second to none, and partnering with Deterco Inc. and Houston Precision Inc. to ensure that the Caribbean gets the highest standard of Quality required in the Metrology sector.
