Key Features:
Safety
- The “pipe coupling detector”/”slip set” device, which together with the functions on the control panel, provide the operator positive indications that either the elevator and/or spider is holding the single joint and/or string weight in the pipe gripping position.
- Designed to reduce the chance of pipe crushing effects, allowing the unit to run longer strings than other compatible units in the market.
- Standard design to fit inside a Nat’l 49-1/2″ rotary table, reducing the need for scaffolding.
Efficiency
- Central-on-board lubrication system.
- Hydraulically operated to provide push down on slips for back-up torque reaction.
