Polar-Cool MDSS Blue is a moderate to heavy duty semi-synthetic coolant that can be used on cast iron, all steels, aluminum and most other non-ferrous metals.

A blend of extreme pressure and film boundary lubricant additives, enable this product to be used in severe applications.
In many cases it will outperform medium duty, to heavy-duty, soluble oils while still provideing the benefits of a semi-synthetic coolant.
If forms a micro-emulsion which enhances tramp oil rejection, allowing for ease of their removal.
Polar-Cool MDSS Blue was designed to provide excellant corrosion protection, even under hard water conditions, low foam and long sump life.
As all our semi-synthetic coolants, this product is free of any hazardous components, including diethanolamine, phenols and PCB’s, which mkaes it envirementally friendly and safe to use.
This coolant can be used in a wide variety of applicatioins including milling, drilling, turning, boring, tapping, grinding, broaching and more.
LUBRICATING FUNCTION
Polar-Cool MDSS Blue contains an extreme pressure additive that forms a complex reducing friction at the tool/part interface.
Along with petroleum oil, this product contains additional film-boundary additives that further enhance lubrication and heat dissipation.
This coolant will outperform many semi-synthetic and soluble oil type products.
PACKAGING
Polar-Cool MDSS Blue is available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, 275 gallon totes and bulk quantities.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
For most applications, Polar-Cool MDSS Blue should be used in an operating range of 5 – 10% (20:1 – 10:1) for machining and 3 – 5% (33:1 – 20:1) for grinding.
When mixing, add the coolant concentration to water and mix thourghly.
It is best, if the coolant cocentrate and water are mixed in a separate container prior to adding to your system.
The sump life of this coolant, will be greatly enhanced if the charged to a clean bacteria-free system.
